Pioneer Athletics Hall of Fame
Called by many the best soccer player at Cal State East Bay in the 1970’s, Fudenna was a three- time All-Far Western Conference selection, contributing to a pair of conference championships and NCAA post-season appearances in 1975 and 1976. He played in the College East-West All Star game, was drafted into the professional ranks by the San Jose Earthquakes of the North American Soccer League, and had an Olympic tryout.
