Pioneer Athletics Hall of Fame
Ditmer established a three-year singles record of 63-6 and from 1976-78 was named the Far Western Conference Men’s Tennis Player of the Year. He won the FWC singles title at #2 as a freshman, and won the FWC singles title at #1 in his sophomore, junior, and senior years. Ditmer played at #1 doubles from 1976-78 and compiled a record of 44-3 in dual match play with a different playing partner each year. In his junior and senior years he compiled a phenomenal dual match doubles record of 34-0. Ditmer earned NCAA Division II All-American status in doubles in 1977 and 1978.
