Student-Athlete Advisory Committee

Cal State East Bay's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee is comprised of two representatives from each of the university's 14 intercollegiate sports. SAAC's role on campus is to promote communication between athletics administration and student-athletes, disseminate information to athletes and promote athletic events on campus. It also provides feedback and insight into athletics department issues to generate a student-athlete voice within the campus and the athletics department's formulation of policies. In addition, SAAC goal is to build a sense of community within the athletics program involving all athletics teams, solicit student-athlete responses to proposed conference and NCAA legislation, organize community service efforts, and promote a positive student-athlete image on campus.
