Pioneer Athletics Hall of Fame
Winlock was a four-year competitor for the Pioneers women’s track and field team. She was a two-time All- American in the long jump (1975) and 400 meter hurdles (1978). Winlock was the 1978 Golden State Conference women’s track and field athlete of the year. She was a national qualifier in five different events. Among the all-time CSUH Track and Field leaders, Winlock ranks second in the 400 meter hurdles (58.94), third in the 200 meters (24.04), 5th in the 400 meters (55.14), and eighth in the 100 meters (12.04) and long jump (18’5). Winlock won the President’s Award from the School of Education for her Academic and Sports Achievement at Cal State Hayward in 1978.
