Pioneer Athletics Hall of Fame
Mehmedbasich compiled a four-year singles record of 76-27 and was 77-21 in doubles competition while competing for the men’s tennis team from 1982-85. He earned NCAA Division II All-American honors and Nor Cal Athletic Conference Player of the Year in singles compiling a 25-7 record his senior campaign. Mehmedbasich teamed with fellow CSUH Hall of Famer Rolf Wiedenmeyer to receive All-American honors in doubles play in 1984 and 1985. Mehmedbasich and Weidenmeyer compiled an impressive two-year doubles record of 54-14.
