Pioneer Athletics Hall of Fame
Schafer was a five-sport standout and a key competitor for the 1972 CSUH Women’s Track and Field championship team. She was a two-time National Champion in the 800 meters. Shaefer also competed on the Pioneer volleyball and field hockey teams.
