Pioneer Athletics Hall of Fame
Castelanelli played football from 1968-71, guiding the Pioneers to a pair of Far Western Conference Championships in 1969 and 1970. The third leading rusher in Cal State Hayward history with 1,651 rushing yards, Castelanelli holds the University record for most yards in a game (280), most carries in a game (36), and touchdowns in a game (3).
