Courtney Schwiesow,
Makila Schuck, and
Alyssa Tenney combined to finish in a time of 1:46.45. The mark is a NCAA provisional qualifying time and just over three seconds off the CSUEB program record.
Cutts has placed in a PCSC Championship final in each of her three seasons following Wednesday's effort in the 1,000. She became a 4-time PCSC individual finalist and placed in the top eight in the 1,000 free for the second straight year.
Lowe and
Kali Kearns finished the 40 lengths of freestyle within one tenth of a second. Lowe placed 11th overall (10:53.95) and Kearns took 12th (10:54.02) to rack up points for the team competition.
"Our distance swimming continues to be strong. We earned some good points today," Loorz added.

Claire Beaty, and
Jacqueline Whitehead comprised a pair of 200-yard medley relay exhibition teams to make their first appearances at the meet.
"It was good for our 'B' and 'C' relay swimmers to get the blood going and be ready to race for tomorrow," Loorz stated.
UC San Diego leads after day one with 253 points followed closely behind by Azusa Pacific with 242. Fresno Pacific (184), Pepperdine (181) and Cal State East Bay (155) round out the top five of the 12-team field.
