HAYWARD, Calif. – Watch live on pioneerwebtv.com as Cal State East Bay swimming hosts its regular season finale on Friday, Jan. 30, when it takes on Division I San Jose State. The team will honor its lone senior member,
Alyssa Tenney, prior to the meet as she makes her final competitive collegiate swims in Pioneer Pool.

Ben Loorz. She is coming off a 2013-14 campaign in which she was a two-time NCAA All-American as a member of Pioneer relay teams. She has also earned Academic All-America Team honors in each of the past two seasons.
"Alyssa is at the very heart of this team. Her outstanding improvement across four years and multiple events is unparalleled; it is a testament to what can be accomplished when we approach a task with a healthy mixture of hard work, long-term focus, and enjoyment of the process. Alyssa embodies this, and as a two-time captain of East Bay Swimming, her sensitive leadership will be missed," complimented Loorz of Tenney's time with the program.
Tenney is a seven time Pacific Collegiate Swim Conference (PCSC) championship finalist with a pair of runner-up finishes. As a sophomore she took second in the 200-yard backstroke and during her junior campaign in the 400-yard individual medley.
