HAYWARD, Calif. - Cal State East Bay head golf coach Alan Sue announces the addition of Torrie Bowman to the women's golf program starting in the 2024-25 academic year. 

Bowman will come to Hayward from Fresno, California having played multiple seasons at Clovis East High School. In the 2023 CIF Central Section Championships this past October, Bowman carded a score of 69 to qualify for the 2023 CIF/SCGA SoCal Regional Girls Golf Championships. 

Additional highlights for Bowman include:

• Multiple first place finishes in the Len Ross Memorial Junior.
• Reached SoCal Regionals all four years of high school. 
• Coaching with the First Tee program. 

"Torrie is an exceptional golfer, student and person," stated Sue. "I can't wait for her to begin her journey here as a Pioneer. We are all very excited to bring her on board."
