CARMEL, Calif. — Cal State East Bay wrapped up competition at the Patriot Invitational, finishing 10th overall at Quail Lodge Golf Club in a field that featured multiple nationally ranked programs.
The Pioneers recorded a three-round total of 79-over-par, opening with a 24-over 312 before adding rounds of 28-over 316 and 27-over 315 to close out the tournament.
Carlota Eroles led East Bay with a 39th-place finish at 21-over-par. After opening with a 75, she carded an 83 in round two before bouncing back with a 76 in the final round. Torrie Bowman followed with a tie for 35th at 20-over-par, delivering consistent play with rounds of 77, 77, and 79.
Chantel Tsai placed 42nd overall at 22-over-par, improving from an 80 in round two to a 78 in the final round. Sakshi Mehta finished 52nd at 27-over-par (79-77-84), while Kathy Leeper rounded out the scoring five in 53rd at 28-over-par, responding with consecutive rounds of 78 after the opening day.
Facing a deep and competitive field, the Pioneers showed resilience throughout the event, highlighted by steady scoring across the lineup and strong closing efforts in the final round.
