RICHMOND, Va. - The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America announced its qualifying programs from the 2022 Spring Semester selected as Scholar All-America Teams. Under the direction of head coach Shane Pelton, Cal State East Bay Women's Swimming garnered the distinctive honor on Monday. 

The Pioneers demonstrated outstanding success in the classroom, with 24 participants combining for a 3.64 grade point average.

The CSCAA Executive Director said about Cal State East Bay's honor: "Coach Pelton is one of the up-and-comers in our sport and this is just another example."

Cal State East Bay also received the honor this past fall semester with a team GPA of 3.66.
