Box Score TURLOCK, Calif. - On Sunday, the Cal State East Bay baseball team closed out a CCAA series against Stanislaus State with an 18-7 win to split the series, 2-2. 

The Pioneers jumped out to an early 6-0 lead in the top of the first inning, added three more in the fourth inning, another three in the sixth and six in the eighth. 

Francisco Pedraza went 3-for-4 with a home run, double and scored four runs. 

"Francisco Pedraza was outstanding today, Tristin Tatum was solid in his five innings of work," said Cal State East Bay head coach Mike Cummins.

On Friday, April 8, the Pioneers return to action when they host Cal State San Marcos to open a four-game series.
