HAYWARD, Calif. — Demonstrating its continued commitment to academic excellence, Cal State East Bay led all California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) institutions with 71 student-athletes named to the 2025-26 Winter and Spring Academic Honor Roll.
The conference recognized 620 student-athletes representing its 12 member institutions for their accomplishments in the classroom while competing in CCAA-sponsored winter and spring sports during the 2025-26 academic year. The Pioneers' conference-leading total reflects the dedication of East Bay's student-athletes to achieving success both academically and athletically.
To be eligible for the CCAA Winter and Spring Academic Honor Roll, student-athletes must be of sophomore athletic standing or higher, compete in a CCAA-sponsored winter or spring sport, and maintain a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.30.
Cal State East Bay's 71 honorees represented eight Pioneer programs, including baseball, men's basketball, women's basketball, men's golf, women's golf, softball, men's track & field and women's track & field. The recognition highlights the broad academic success achieved across the department during the 2025-26 season.
