Overview
The Cal State East Bay baseball team travels to Los Angeles for a four game CCAA series against Cal State L.A. The Pioneers won their last CCAA series 3-1 over Cal State San Marcos in Hayward last weekend while the Golden Eagles lost all four games of their CCAA series with CSU Monterey Bay in Seaside. The Pioneers enter the series tied for the sixth place in the CCAA.Â

On Friday, the Pioneers scored four runs in the bottom of the seventh in a 9-4 victory over the Cal State San Marcos. On Saturday, the Pioneers split the doubleheader with the Cougars winning 8-6 in the first game and losing 6-1 in the second game. On Sunday, the Pioneers took the series three games to one with a 5-2 win over CSUSM.
