Overview
CSU East Bay hits the road for a four-game CCAA series against Stanislaus State in Turlock staring Friday night. The Pioneers split their doubleheader with San Francisco State in Hayward while the Warriors lost all four games of their series against No. 25 CSU Monterey Bay in Seaside.

On Friday, the Pioneers would score in the bottom of the third inning but it was not enough as the Gators would win 2-1. On Saturday, the Pioneers would allow 12 unanswered runs in game one and fell 14-4 but in game two, the Pioneers would score five runs in the first two innings en route to a 5-2 victory. On Sunday, the Pioneers scored 11 runs between the sixth, seventh and eighth innings to win 13-2 to split the series with the Gators, 2-2. .

Cal State L.A. and CSU San Marcos are tied for the sixth and final playoff spot. No. 14 Chico State has a .049 percent lead over No. 21 CSU Monterey Bay for the top spot in the CCAA. Chico State will take on CSULA in Los Angeles while CSU San Marcos will take on CSUMB in San Marcos.
