HAYWARD, Calif., -- The Cal State East Bay baseball team finds themselves atop of California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) standings with a perfect 8-0 record with a 4-0 mark in conference play headed into a showdown of the top two teams in the league when the Stanislaus State Warrior visit Pioneer Baseball Field for a four-game series this weekend.

- Ryan McSwain is tied for the CCAA lead with three home runs and he is 2nd on the team with a .605 slugging percentage.
- McSwain is batting .316 and is 4th on the team with nine runs scored to go with seven RBI.
- Francisco Pedraza is 5th in the CCAA with a team-leading four steals.
- Brodsky tossed a three-hit shutout in a 5-0 win and finished with a career-best 12 strikeouts, just three off the single-game program record, as he notched his first win of the 2020 season.
- Â Brodsky's 12 strikeouts are the single-game high in the CCAA here in the early going, with his nine-inning complete game the conference's first of 2020.
- Brodsky is 7th in the CCAA with a 1.93 ERA and tied for 2nd with 19 strikeouts including seven batter struck out looking.
- Mark Woinarowicz leads CSUEB with two wins on the mound.
- Brian Martinez has nine strikeouts on the season with a 3.09 ERA through 11.1 innings tossed.
- Ransome Alexander has compiled nine strikeouts with a 5.19 ERA.
- Ryan Robinson and Tristin Tatum have both tallied one win each.

SCOUTING STANISLAUS STATE
The Stanislaus State Warriors are currently sitting in the second spot in the CCAA Standings with a 9-1 overall mark and a 3-1 showing in league play after defeating Sonoma State 3-1 in their four game series last week. Zach Jones is leading the Warriors with .471 batting average with 16 hits, 14 runs, two home runs and 13 RBI. Ryan Tinsley leads Stan State on the mound with 19 strikeouts through 20.0 innings tossed and a 1.35 ERA.
