Thursday Time Trials
Rojo's solo time trial effort in the 200-yard butterfly of 2:06.58 was her personal best by more than one full second. The mark is also under NCAA Division II "B" National qualifying standard of 2:07.41. Rojo improved upon her own school record set at last year's PCSC meet of 2:07.99.
Lowe set a personal best and school record in 200-yard backstroke, finishing in 2:05.86. She improved upon the East Bay school record mark by more than one full second.
"Those were two great swims, especially considering the circumstances," said Head Coach
Ben Loorz. "We flew in last night and jet lag usually plays a factor. They both swam great today and are looking forward to tomorrow."
The 100-yard fly heats are scheduled to begin at 7:14 a.m. Pacific Standard Time (PST). The 100-yard back heats are currently set to start at 8:35 a.m. PST.
