LOS ANGELES, Calif. -The Pioneer baseball team dropped the opener of a four-game series to Cal State L.A., 10-0 on March 4.
The Eagles, now 7-2 in CCAA play and 12-5 for the season, scored four runs in the third inning and added five more runs in the next three innings.
Pitcher Wally Goodline blanked the Pioneers on four hits while recording seven strikeouts in 8.2 innings. Daniel Duran and Brian Moon each homered while Chad Nacapoy was a perfect 4-for-4 at the plate for Cal State L.A.
