Klinger broke two schools records last week representing the Pioneers at NCAA Division II Championships in Indiana. She finished in 13th place in both the 50 Free and 100 Free to earn honorable mention All-America status in both events. Despite being seeded outside the top-16, she topped assistant coach Caitlin DeNise's program records during the prelim sessions of both freestyle events to qualify for the evening "B" Finals.
