Klinger was one of several Pioneer swimmers to post outstanding performances as the team captured its first PCSC championship in program history over the course of four days in La Mirada. Klinger tallied 92 total points at the championship meet, the highest total on the team and third-highest for any swimmer at the meet. She captured individual conference titles in two events with first-place finishes in the 50 Free and 100 Free, and she helped the 200 Free Relay team to victory as well. Klinger also notched a third place individual finish in the 100 Butterfly, and contributed to third place finishes in the 200 Medley Relay, 400 Medley Relay, and 400 Free Relay.
