Vesia started the week by working 0.2 innings to earn a save and close out a road victory over Chico State in Monday's series finale. The CSUEB ace was then brilliant for the second straight week in earning his third victory of the year, 5-0, over Cal State San Marcos on Saturday. The senior needed just 95 pitches to breeze through 6.0 scoreless innings. He scattered just three hits and struck out five, combining with three teammates to record CSUEB's second shutout win of the year.
