Conners enjoyed a similar breakout this weekend for the CSUEB baseball team on the road at Cal State San Bernardino. With hat tips to Adam Hollar (reached base 11 times in 18 plate appearances) and Raymond Jones (.455 avg, five RBI, four doubles), Conners was the most prolific offensive producer for the Pioneers in a high-scoring series against the Coyotes.
He had at least one hit in all four contests and posted a pair of three-hit games. He racked up five doubles, scored eight runs, and knocked in two more, finishing the weekend with a .400 batting average (8-for-20). Conners had his best game in the team's only win of the series Friday afternoon, going 3-for-5 with three runs scored.
