Greene had a huge week to lead the women's hoops team, which posted a 2-1 record in three games, including the squad's first CCAA victory of the season last Tuesday against SF State. Greene shot 62 percent from the floor overall and notched a double-double in all three games. The redshirt sophomore has six double-doubles in the young season, tied for the most of any player in the nation.
Greene had 11 points, 12 rebounds, and three steals in the victory over the Gators. She came back from the Thanksgiving holiday with 11 points and 11 rebounds in a tough three-point loss to NDNU on Friday. She then closed out the weekend with her best performance of the season so far, racking up 26 points to along with 11 more boards in a win over Fresno Pacific on Saturday. For the week, Greene averaged 16.0 points and 11.3 rebounds per game, while going 18-for-29 from the field (.621).
