Cal State East Bay won all three games in which Sierra Clark pitched as softball took its opening league series 3-1 over Cal State Stanislaus. Clark tossed complete games in each of her starts and gave up only one extra base hit over those 14 innings. To close out the weekend series she pitched 2.2 innings of shutout relief to pick up her first save of the season. On the weekend she went 2-0 with a save, struck out 12 batters in 16.2 innings, and a posted 1.68 earned run average. Clark is 4-0 with a 2.14 ERA in six pitching appearances this season.
