Chris Lara became the first player since current Head Coach Andy Cumbo was hired in 2009 to record a hat trick. He also managed to tie a 31-year old program record with three assists on his way to recording nine points during a 7-1 victory over Antelope Valley on Tuesday, Oct. 21. The following match against Cal State Dominguez Hills, he scored the second half equalizer as the Pioneers earned a 1-1 draw with the Toros. Lara currently leads this year's squad with six goals and 15 points this season.
