Imani Heath has been named Cal State East Bay Female Athlete of the Week for Sept. 1-7. The junior ran away from the competition to capture the individual title at the CSUEB-Holy Names 5k Dual Meet on Saturday at Garin Regional Park. Heath finished the 5k race in 18:51, dominating the rest of the field and finishing a full minute and a half in front of the second-place runner. She led the Pioneer women to a decisive 18-41 team victory over the Hawks.
