HAYWARD, Calif. — Jenna Rodriguez has etched her name into the Cal State East Bay record books, qualifying for the NCAA Division II Track & Field Championships in the 800 meters.

Rodriguez secured her spot on the national stage with a time of 2:08.12, earning an invitation to compete against the top runners in the country. Earlier this season, she made history by breaking the program's 800-meter record that had stood since 1981, further cementing her place among the program's all-time greats.

She will travel to Emporia State University in Emporia, Kansas, where the championships will be held May 21–23.

The national berth marks a significant milestone for both Rodriguez and the Pioneers program, as she prepares to compete among the nation's elite in one of track & field's most demanding middle-distance events.

Rodriguez's record-breaking season has been a driving force behind her success and positions her as a competitor to watch heading into the championships.
