The 2024 Cal State East Bay baseball season begins this coming Thursday. The Pioneers start the season in the Oahu Baseball Classic with multiple matchups against Hawai'i Pacific, Chaminade and UH Hilo. The regular season concludes on Saturday, May 4. 

Below are schedule highlights for the upcoming season for the Pioneers:

• The Oahu Baseball Classic goes from February 1-4 at Patsy T. Mink Central Oahu Regional Park.
• CSUEB's home opener is scheduled for Friday, February 9 against Menlo at Pioneer Baseball Field. 
• CCAA action for the Pioneers begins on Friday, March 1 with a matchup against Sonoma State in Hayward. 
• From April 19-21, the Pioneers play a road series at preseason No. 4 Cal State San Bernardino. 
• The final home series for Cal State East Bay takes place from April 26-28 against Chico State with Senior Day taking place on Sunday, April 28. 
• The regular season wraps up on Saturday, May 4 at preseason No. 14 Cal State Monterey Bay
• If the Pioneers qualify, the CCAA Baseball Tournament takes place May 8-11 at Scolinos Field on the campus of Cal Poly Pomona.  

The 2024 season will be the seventh played (eighth year) under the direction of head coach Mike Cummins. In 2023, the Pioneers went 27-24 overall and 21-19 in conference play, qualifying for the 2023 CCAA Tournament.
