HAYWARD, Calif. – No. 18 Cal State East Bay women's swimming hosted a double dual meet on Friday at Pioneer Pool against San Jose State and Simon Fraser. The Pioneers fell 124-81 to the Red Leafs and lost 117-86 to the Spartans.
As a team, the Pioneers' best finish of the day was first place in the 400 yard freestyle relay that wrapped up the meet as the team included
Tehani Kong,
Delaney Carlson,
Olivia Parham and
Brooklyn Dressel, finishing with a time of three minutes, 28.77 seconds.
Individually, Dressel won the 100 yard freestyle in 52.09 seconds and
Hannah Sharp won the 200 yard backstroke in 2:06.70.
The Pioneers host Simon Fraser, UC Santa Cruz and Southwestern Oregon Community College at Pioneer Pool. The meet will begin at 10 am. Prior to the meet, a Senior Day ceremony will take place.
