SAN FRANCISCO - Over a three day stretch, Cal State East Bay women's track & field competed at Cox Stadium in the Mike Fanelli Track Classic.
Below are some of the highlights from the meet for the Pioneers.
- In her fifth run of the 400 meters at Cal State East Bay, Simryn Parikh achieved a personal best time of one minute, 1.63 second.
- Jenna Rodriguez ran the 800 meters for the third time with the Pioneers, and had a personal best time of 2:19.56.
- Placing 51st overall in the 5,000 meters was Kimberly Lima Pardina, who finished with a personal best time of 17:37.89.
During the week of April 14, Cal State East Bay is set to have athletes compete in two possible meets - the Bryan Clay Invitational (hosted by Azusa Pacific) and the Johnny Mathis Invitational (hosted by SF State). Specific entries will be announced closer to the start of each meet.
