SAN JOSE, Calif. – In a dual meet on Friday, the Cal State East Bay women's swim team lost in team scoring, 142-96 against San Jose State. The Pioneers had three first place finishes, all in freestyle events.
Brooklyn Dressel was included in all three top finishes for the Pioneers.
- Dressel placed first in the 50 yard freestyle with a time of 24.07 seconds.
- In the 100 yard freestyle, Dressel placed first in 51.65 seconds.
- To close out the meet, the Pioneers took first in the 200 yard freestyle relay in 1:37.23 with the team of Dressel, Delaney Carlson, Olivia Parham and Emma Knott.

- Kylie Beaudet placed second in the 200 yard butterfly with a personal best time of 2:09.66.
The Pioneers return to action on Saturday morning when they host a double dual meet against Simpson and UC Santa Cruz. Start time from Pioneer Pool is set for 10 a.m.
