AZUSA, Calif. – On Saturday evening,
Chase Worthen, from Cal State East Bay Women's Track, competed in the 1,500 meters as part of the APU Last Chance meet.

She placed eighth among 56 starting runners and fourth among NCAA Division II runners.
Cal State East Bay head coach
Tony Nicolosi spoke about Worthen's performance on Saturday. "She ran a great race," said Nicolisi. "She's up there with some pretty historic women all time in our school's history. She squeezed every last second she could out of her effort tonight. We could not be more proud of her."
