This coming Friday and Saturday, the Cal State East Bay men's track & field team will host the East Bay Classic, which will take place at Chabot College.

Also on Saturday, three seniors rom the Pioneers will be recognized or their contribution to the track and field program in a ceremony during the meet.
Last Meet
The Pioneers competed last week in the Mike Fanelli Track Classic. Some achievements by multiple members if the Pioneers were made including:
- McKain finishing the men's 10,000 meters in 32 minutes, 7.94 seconds, which is a top-10 time in Pioneers history.
- Finishing with personal bests (min. 2 career events of distance) in the men's 5,000 meters were Calubayan(15:35.63) and Garcia (15:53.33).
- Bradshaw was CSUEB's top finisher in the 5,000 meters with a time of 15:32.48.
- Johnson ran his fastest 1,500 meter time of 4:00.51.
