STANFORD, Calif. – The 2022 Cardinal Classic took place Saturday at Cobb Track and Angell Field on the campus of Stanford University. Members of the Cal State East Bay Women's Track team competed in multiple running events 
 
In the women's 400 meters, Ashley Trout finished in 64.03 seconds, which was her first 400 meter event of the 2022 season. 
 
Melissa Sosa ran her fastest career time in the women's 1500 meters of 4:56.28. 
 
Cal State East Bay is scheduled to next compete in the Mike Fanelli Invitational, taking place at Cox Stadium in San Francisco from March 31 through April 2.
