CHICO, Calif. – The 2022 CCAA Men's Soccer All-Conference Team was announced on Wednesday. Named All-CCAA Honorable Mention from Cal State East Bay were Aaron Farnan and Drew Gibbons. 

Farnan led the Pioneers in goals scored with four and also added four assists. On September 1 against Dominican, he had two goals. His four assists was tied for seventh most in the CCAA. 

Gibbons started all 18 matches for the Pioneers and logged 1,562 minutes on the pitch in 2022. Cal State East Bay had six shutouts during the season and Gibbons played a full 90 minutes in five of them. 

"Drew and Aaron have been great leaders for this team and were a big part of our progress this year!" expressed Cal State East Bay head coach Mike Bielski. "I'm very happy for the recognition they both received from this extremely competitive conference. It is a well-deserved honor!"
 
The Pioneers finished the 2022 season last Thursday and will look for great achievements in 2023.
