East Bay will also travel on Sunday, Oct. 17 for a road contest against Humboldt State beginning at 11:30 a.m. Both matches will be streamed live, and live stats will be available.

Cal State East Bay won its last meeting against Chico State, 3-2, on Nov. 7, 2019, which was the Pioneers' first victory over the Wildcats since 1989.

CSUEB (6-2-2, 3-0-1 CCAA) is coming off one victory and one tie last weekend on the road, as the Pioneers remained unbeaten in CCAA play. Junior midfielder Kelsey Pena recorded the game-winning goal as well as an assist in East Bay's 2-0 win at Cal State LA on Oct. 8, while senior forward Riley Spitzer added her second goal of the season. In addition, it was CSUEB's first victory over Cal State LA as members of the CCAA.

In Sunday's 0-0 against Cal Poly Pomona, the Pioneers had a 2-1 edge in shots on target after 110 minutes played. Sophomore Payton Heaney and freshman Lexie Randolph each recorded a shot on goal, while junior goalkeeper Jordan Smith saved the Broncos' only opportunity of the game.

Senior Tami Kwong leads East Bay this season with four goals, while Spitzer and freshman Kylie Newman rank second on the team with seven total points apiece.
