AMARILLO, Texas -- Cal State East Bay senior Carolin Chang finished in a tie for 56th place this week at NCAA Division II Super Regionals, posting a 54-hole score of 244 (+31).

Chang carded 81, 84 and 79 over the course of three days against the top teams and players from the West and South-Central Regionals. The course at Amarillo Country Club played tough all week, with every single player in the tournament finishing over par.

Chang's second round Tuesday was suspended due to lightning after 11 holes, and she stumbled a bit when play resumed Wednesday morning. But she bounced back this afternoon to shoot her best round of the week to close out the tournament.

The Taiwan native wraps up a two-year career as one of the most decorated golfers in CSUEB program history. In both seasons, she earned First Team All-CCAA honors, claimed a spot on the All-Tournament Team at CCAA Championships, and qualified individually for NCAA Regionals.
