LOS ANGELES, Calif., -- The Cal State East Bay women's track and field team recorded another top 10 individual finish in the Occidental College Distance Spring Break Classic in Los Angeles on Saturday, March 10.
 
Brittney Duquette (Claremont, Calif.) compiled a top 10 finish in the 800m event overall, winning her heat with with a personal best time of 2:20.89. It was her second consecutive top 10 finish this season.
 
In the 5000m event Angelina Ronquillo (Bakersfield, Calif.) paced the Pioneers with a 38th place finish with a time of 17:55.04, also a personal best. Cecilia Carretero (Modesto, Calif.) followed with another PR time of 18:12.47, coming in at 54th place. Claire Fisher (Temecula, Calif.) made it four personal best times, rounding out the East Bay runners with a time of 18:28.67.
 
The Pioneers will return to action March 17 when they compete in the Sacramento State Hornet Invitational at Hornet Stadium.
