HAYWARD, Calif – The Cal State East Bay women's soccer team will embark on a three game California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) road swing opening up this Friday, October 7 against Cal State San Bernardino. The Pioneer women will then trek to Cal Poly Pomona on Sunday, October 9 and will complete their CCAA road trip with a matchup against Stanislaus State on Wednesday, October 12. Cal Poly Pomona is top-5 in the CCAA conference standings.
WEEK REVIEW
CSUEB will look to it's CCAA will look to improve on it's win streak after a 1-1 draw with non-conference foe UC Santa Cruz on September 30. For East Bay it was their second consecutive overtime game.
The Pioneer women dominated the game with a 14-6 shot advantage, including seven shots on goal.
Freshman
Jessey Santos scored her first goal of the season with a shot inside the left post. She was assisted by sophomore
Nicole Stamper.
Senior goalkeeper
Jasmine Corbett led the Pioneer women with three saves including a pivotal save in the final 12 seconds of regulation play.

The East Bay women have scored seven goals in ten games, while allowing 12 goals from opponents so far this season.
Senior
Megan Ravenscroft is tenth in the conference with a team leading four goals scored.
Jasmine Corbett ranks second in the CCAA with 39 saves through ten games while only allowing 12 goals. She is also sixth in the conference with (3.90) saves per game.
SCOUTING CAL STATE SAN BERNARDINO
The Coyote women are a tough defensive team that do not play high scoring games allowing 13 goals and scoring 13 goals on the season so far. Cal State San Bernardino is 3-0-1 in it's last four contests with wins over Cal State Monterey Bay (2-0), Cal Poly Pomona (2-0) and Chico State (3-1). Senior Susan Ibarra is sixth in the conference with nine points so far this season (3 goals and 3 assists). Senior Rachael Figg is top-10 in the CCAA with two game winning goals.
SCOUTING CAL POLY POMONA
The Broncos are an aggressive team offensively attempting 144 shots on the season so far, good for fifth in the CCAA. Cal Poly Pomona is 1-1 in its last two matches including a 2-1 overtime win over Chico State. Sophomore Sidney Yates is third in the conference with 28 shot attempts. Yates and senior Hailey James are both top-5 in the CCAA with two game winning goals apiece.
SCOUTING STANISLAUS STATE
The Warrior women are a high profile offense the takes high volume shots and scores plenty of goals. Stanislaus State is second in the CCAA with 19 goals scored on 16 assists. They have attempted 145 shots, including 69 on shots on goal. Junior Jade Poon and senior Kristen Coleman stand third and fourth in the conference with five goals apiece. Junior Gabby Squarcia along with Poon rank in the top-5 in assists with four each. Poon and senior Mikayla Clifford each lead the Warriors with two game winning goals on the season
