Box Score CARSON, Calif. -- The Cal State East Bay volleyball team picked up its first road win of 2014 on Friday night with a four-set victory over Cal State Dominguez Hills (21-25, 25-23, 25-18, 25-21). The Pioneers hit .210 as a team and forced 32 attack errors by the Toros in the comeback win.
It was a career night for redshirt freshman
Jovan Turner, who led the team with 11 kills, five total blocks, and a .500 attack percentage.
Amber Hall had 11 kills and nine digs, and
Samantha Bruno notched 10 kills with four blocks.
Freshman
Brandi Brucato paced the Pioneers with 16 digs, and senior setter
Ashia Joseph put up 37 assists.
Kiani Rayford added nine kills.
