TURLOCK, Calif. –
The Pioneer men's track team had a good performance at the Kim Duyst Invitational on Saturday.

Will Weekes was clocked in 4:03.16 to take fifth place honors in the 1500 meters.

Daniel Damien placed sixth with a time of 10:08.41 in the 3000 meter steeplechase.

Jose Mejia-Gonzalez (16:56.17) was 25th and 60th overall in the 5000 meters. Orlando Ramirez competed in the 800 meters to round out the Pioneers performance.

“I was very pleased with our men's performance,” Pioneer Head Coach Ralph Jones said. “We continue to make progress in being competitive and it showed in today's Meet.”   

The Pioneers will host San Jose State and Castro Valley Youth Track and Field Club for time trials at Pioneer Stadium on Mar. 9.
