“Will ran a smart race,” Pioneer Head Coach Ralph Jones said. “He got caught in the box at the 500 meters, but was able to pull out and finish strong. I was very pleased with his race.”

“Anthony had a good 100 meters and  finished with a time just over 23 seconds in the 200,” Jones said. “I'm hopeful Anthony will put it together in his next race and finish under 23 seconds.”

Orlando Ramirez was the ninth fastest four-year collegiate runner and 25th overall with a time of 2:08.09 in the 800 meters.

Daniel Damien completed the 800 meters in 2:20.84 to finish 11th among all four-year collegiate runners and 35th overall. Damien turned in an eighth place finish in the 3000 steeplechase with a time of 10:32.45.

“Jose ran a good race and finished strong in the 5000,” Jones said. “This was a good prep for the 10,000 meters.”

In the 1500 meters, Mejia-Gonzalez was 20th among all four-year collegiate runners and 35th overall with a time of 2:20.84.
