HAYWARD, Calif. – Cal State East Bay will play three of its final four regular season contests inside Pioneer Stadium. The first two will be against California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) opponents Cal State Stanislaus on Friday, Oct. 25, and Humboldt State on Sunday, Oct. 27.
Cal State East Bay (3-10-1, 3-8-1 CCAA) is still alive for the second and final transfer spot into the league tournament. However the Pioneers will likely need to win out, as well as get help from others within the CCAA to get there.
"Both opponents this weekend are strong, have played well lately, and have postseason aspirations. They should be two exciting matchups, said Head Coach
Andy Cumbo. "We've continually shown progress throughout the season and our guys are playing very well right now."
