HAYWARD, Calif. –
Tiffany Duffy and Burtland Dixon led the Pioneer women's and men's track teams effort at the Chabot Relays and Distance Festival on April 7.

Duffy recorded a season-best time of 2:30.04 to finish third in the 800 Meters. In the 1500 Meters, Duffy also posted a third place showing with a good time of 5:06.16.

Nastassia Hamor finished sixth in the 800 and 1500 Meters with season-best marks of 2:35.75 and 5:17.28.

In the sprints, Chelsea Ingram was the Pioneers top finisher in the 100 Meters. Ingram was timed in 15.16 to take 14th place honors. She took 15th in the 200 Meters in 32.36. Diaji Smith was 14th in the 200 Meters in 30.99. Smith placed 15th in the 100 Meters with a time of 15.20.

Ikay Mwanangele had a mark of 15-00.75 to finish fourth in the Long Jump.

On the men's side, Dixon earned third place honors in the 400 Meters with a season-best time of 52.06. Dixon posted season-best time of 23.16 to take sixth place in the 200 Meters. Another season-best time of 11.42 enabled Dixon to place seventh in the 100 Meters.

Anthony Gaines had a productive Meet with an eighth place finish in the 400 Meters (53.21) and a 12th place showing in the 200 Meters (23.66). Both marks were season-best times. He placed 24th in the 100 Meters with a time of 11.94.  

Kristian Arnold recorded a season-best time of 55.18 to place 14th in the 400 Meters. Another season-best time of 24.19 had Arnold finish 17th in the 200 Meters. He finished 23rd in the 100 Meters in 11.93.

John Vergara knocked off three seconds from his previous best mark to take 14th in the 800 Meters in 2:06.93. Vergara also recorded a season-best time of 4:21.59 to take eighth in the 1500 Meters.

Francisco Pulido, competing in his first Meet of the season, placed 16th in the 1500 Meters in 4:38.54.
Pulido was timed in 2:17.40 to finish 25th in the 800 Meters.
