The Pioneers had over a week to prepare for their first matchup against Sonoma State.  East Bay will have a couple of days to prepare for Sonoma State on October 11.  “It's not much of a disadvantage as we both played last Sunday,” Pioneer coach Andy Cumbo said. “There's a lot riding on this game for both teams, it should be very competitive.”

Cal Maritime, a member of the California Pacific Conference, has a 1-0-1 league record and an overall mark of 1-4-1. The Keelhaulers posted a 1-0 victory over Pacific Union.
