BERKELEY, Calif. – Nancy Velazquez and Justin Landry led the way for the Pioneer track teams at the Brutus Hamilton Open Invitational on April 22. The two-day invitational, hosted by Cal, consisted of 14 colleges and two track clubs.

Velazquez finished 15th out of 28 competitors in the 1500. She recorded a season- best time of 4:50.49.
Tiffany Duffy posted a season-best time of 5:02.79 to finish 25th while Nastassia Hamor took 27th in 5:11.40.

Landry continues to perform well in the sprints posting his second fastest time of the season of 11.32 to place 10th in the 100 meters. A season-best clocking of 23.39 enabled Landry to finish 13th in the 200 meters.

Chris Gallagher turned in a season-best time of 4:13.86 to place 21st in the 1500 meters.
