Joey Herrera was the lone Pioneer to place in the top-25 in their first tournament of the season. The native of Fillmore, Calif., Herrera finished tied for 22nd out of 80 golfers after carding a 72 (E) and 73 (+1) on the par-72 course, then fired another 72 in the final round to finish at 271 (+1).
