Smith won the 10,000-meter race Friday evening at CSUEB's home meet, the East Bay Invitational, by nearly 50 seconds. He crossed the tape in 32:46.43, which is the seventh-fastest time in program history and the sixth-fastest time by a CCAA runner this season.
