Jaynie MacDonald was named California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Player of the Week and Cal State East Bay Female Athlete of the Week.

In her five games this past week, Jaynie MacDonald went 8-of-17 at the plate. She blasted five home runs, collected eight RBI, and scored six runs. She homered in four straight games including two homers in a 7-5 victory on Saturday over HSU.

MacDonald homered in back-to-back-to-back at bats spanning over two games against Humboldt State. She hit the game-winning 3-run shot in a 4-3 series opening win on Friday.

MacDonald leads all CCAA players with seven homers on the season and ranks second with 20 RBI. After hitting six homers in 50 games last season, she has already surpassed that mark in 19 games in 2015.
